Women's footy heats up in regional Victoria
Women’s footy fever is hitting Victoria’s regional area with the announcement the Hepburn Burras are will be entering a team in the AFL Goldfields Youth Girls competition for season 2017.
The competition is an Under-18 program which participates against established teams from around the AFL Goldfields region.
An information session will be held on Thursday February 9th at the Hepburn FC starting at 5pm which will be followed by a training session with Carlton FC players.
The Carlton Football Club are coming to the Hepburn and Daylesford areas for their Community Camp on February 9 & 10.
They will be involved in a number of activities in the community during their stay.
On Thursday 9th February, the Carlton FC players will be attending an official function which will be held at the Hepburn FC Clubrooms commencing at 7.00pm.
The evening will involve player interviews, an auction of Carlton FC items and an opportunity for all in attendance to get some autographs and mix with some of Carlton FC’s biggest name players in the lead up to the 2017 season.
