The Purple Bombers are having an event to support a Pride Match for next football season.

The event, which will be held at the Studio Room at Etihad Stadium, will celebrate the diversity of AFL supporters and to highlight the contributions they collectively bring to the football community.

Out comedian Thomas Jaspers, (pictured) will MC the event and also appearing will be Essendon Football Club CEO, Xavier Campbell, Essendon Football Club players, Gender and Sexuality Commissioner, Rowena Allen, and music from Romantasaurs.

The cost of a ticket is $49 which includes canapés, beer, wine and soft drink. (Please note - ticket does not gain access to the ground but if you don’t have a ticket you can contact the Purple Bombers as EFC will be providing a limited amount of free tickets - FIRST IN BEST DRESSED! Kids allowed with a guardian).

This landmark event will go a long way to securing a proper Pride Match next season.

Saturday August 15, Studio Room at Etihad Stadium. See Purple Bombers Facebook page for more details.
