Sydney Stingers Water Polo team want you for their Bootcamp
If you’ve wondered whether you’ve got what it takes to be a water polo champ, why not sign up for the Sydney Stingers new members Bootcamp and find out?
The Stingers are a competitive lesbian and gay water polo club based in Sydney. Originally formed in October 2001 to represent Sydney in the 2002 Gay Games, the club is now incorporated and is a permanent fixture of the Sydney gay and lesbian sporting community, with two teams also playing in the NSW metropolitan competition.
Bootcamp is a four-week program that introduces you to the basics of water polo in a fun but intensive, interactive way.
It provides potential new members the opportunity to learn and test their ability with the sport before joining the club and provides a quick introduction to the some existing members.
You don’t need to be Grant Hackett in the pool but you do need to be comfortable in the water and be able to swim. This is NOT a 'learn to swim' program.
This year the camp dates are:
March 21, 10am - 11:30
March 28, 10am-11:30
April 12, 10am - 11:30
April 19, 1:30pm - 3pm
