LAST UPDATED // Monday, 28 July 2014 14:00 Written by // Joseph Roppolo

We catch up with Sydney Rangers' FC president Joseph Roppolo to get the run-down of this weekend's action from 27/7/14.

Rangers A defeated Belmore Eagles 4-0 at Rudd Park (Belmore) with goals scored by Sebastien Herve, Matthew Gore, Koji Niikura & Paul Flynn. This win secures the team’s first minor premiership in Canterbury District All Age with 2 rounds of play still to come. The As, coached by Rob Lumb and Duncan Jones, have built an unassailable lead thanks to an impressive scoring record, winning 13 games with only 2 draws and 1 loss. Finding the net hasn't been difficult with goals spread across the whole team with 59 goals for and only 11 against.

Rangers 35s secured the club’s first minor premiership at Birchgrove Oval (Birchgrove) last weekend with a round to spare and a 5-0 win over Leichhardt Tigers. After losing their very first game of the season, the boys are on a 12 match unbeaten streak (winning 11 games with 1 draw) and scoring 56 goals whilst conceding only 10 goals. Congratulations to Coach Billy Kennedy and all Rangers 35's players.
