Stingers defeat Surge in bi-annual grudge match
Last weekend saw the Sydney Stingers water polo team come head to head with Melbourne Surge in their bi-yearly Grudge Match.
This time played on Sydney's home turf, Sydney Uni Sport And Aquatic Centre, the event saw a good spectator turn out for the main match and also four smaller friendly mixed games.
In the main match Sydney had a respectable win over the Surge, 12 to 2, but despite the unequal score it was not an easy victory.
Sydney will play the Surge in Melbourne again on Australia Day 2016.
