New LGBTI inclusive basketball club for Brisbane

LAST UPDATED // Tuesday, 02 June 2015 16:12 Written by // Ron Hughes

Fancy playing basketball but don’t know where to find an LGBTI-friendly club? The Brisbane Spectres is your answer.

Just starting up, the Brisbane Spectres is a chapter of the original Sydney Spectres who formed back in 2001 and have since risen to national and international recognition.

Just like its Sydney cousin, the Brisbane Spectres aims to be an inclusive club for all members of the community, regardless of age, skill level or sexual orientation.

As a newly-minted club, the Brisbane Spectres are looking for people initially interested in a social round of basketball, and are looking to develop the socialising aspect as well.

If you’re excired at the prospect of helping to start up a brand new sporting club, contact Andrew Bondini through the Facebook page
