Queer fashion to set New York ablaze this weekend
A host of Australian fashion designers are making their to New York for Rainbow Fashion Week (RFW) this weekend.
The event which is presented by The House of Bling will feature local designers Matcho Suba, Tettmann.Doust, Maia Lillford and Crystal Shoe Couture. All four will be hitting the runways with their latest collections at the event which runs alongside New York Fashion Week.
RFW supports emerging queer brands and helps to create economic opportunities for emerging talent within the fashion industry. RFW’s primary initiative is to increase access for queer fashion designers, models and other supportive talents to ensure their future inclusion within New York’s creative pool who demonstrate the “art of fashion.”
