LAST UPDATED // Tuesday, 23 June 2015 13:50

Melbourne's trans and gender diverse film festival – tilde – is calling for submissions

After overwhelming success, tilde is now entering its second year and continuing to provide a  platform for trans and gender diverse filmmakers to express themselves.

Festival programming embraces diversity on all fronts including forms, storylines, gender identities, bodies, sexualities, aesthetics, ethnicity and race, ages, class and abilities.

Priority will be given to films made within the last two years and will be comprised of three categories:

  • Short films 1-29 minutes
  • Mid-length/featurette films 30-59 minutes
  • Feature 60 plus minutes

Submissions for tilde are open until June 30th. Festival will run in November. For more information visit: www.tildemelbourne.com/wewantwhatyougot/
