Ellen Page takes Gaycation to Orlando to speak with survivors

In tribute to the victims of the Pulse nightclub shootings, Ellen Page and Ian Daniel have taken the Viceland series, Gaycation, to Orlando.

On June 12 this year 49 people were killed and 53 injured when shooter Omar Mateen entered Pulse nightclub and committed the deadliest mass shooting in the US since 9//11.

Ellen Page and Gaycation co-host Ian Daniel, took their documentary series to Orlando to speak with the survivors and the friends and family of the victims.

Page said:

“We’re here because we just want to see how the community is feeling and dealing with this and just be here for those who feel like they want to share their story.”

Gaycation is part of a Viceland series which looks at how different LGBTIQ communities exist around the world.
