Grindr users fall victim to blackmailing scheme

Two British men have faced court in the UK accused of attempting to blackmail gay men they met on Grindr.

The men, 26 -year-old Nathanael Foster and Adam Webb, both from Gloucester in South West England, have been charged with two counts of blackmail.

It’s alleged the duo posed as  gay men on the dating app then attempted to solicit thousands of pounds from the men who contacted them via Grindr.

Neither of the men has entered a plea in regards to the charges and both have been realeased on nail to appear again before the court on August 16.

The bail conditions prohibit them from associating with each other and from using Grindr.
