Falcon star Erik Rhodes dies
Falcon Studios star Erik Rhodes passed away yesterday morning in New York after suffering a heart attack in his sleep.
Rhodes, born James Elliott Naughtin, died at the age of 30 following eight years in the porn industry.
Falcon Studios released a statement offering their condolences to Rhodes’ friends and family.
“He was a genuine and caring man with extraordinary attractiveness and a massive muscled frame. Erik was an equally beautiful human being who lit up a room, and brought fun and joy to our studio and his fans that was unparalleled,” the company said in the statement.
“He was a giving person with a special wit, and he put his all into every performance. He wanted to give his fans the best he could every single time he stepped in front of the camera.
“Rest in peace, Erik and know that we are celebrating your life and your achievements, but we will miss you and all the special moments you have given us forever.”
Rhodes, who recently toured in Australia, began has porn career in the film Flesh which landed him an exclusive contract with Falcon Studios.
Throughout his career he has openly spoken about his life as a porn actor, prostitute and the breakup of his four year relationship earlier this year.
On his online blog, Rhodes has publicly written about his drug and steroid use.
Despite admitting to a wild public life, Rhodes told SX in an interview last year his life at home is the opposite to what is seen by his fans.
“I’m a complete housewife at home. When I’m doing my Erik Rhodes thing it’s a matter of living up to the image of a porn star and being what the fans expect you to be,” he said.
“But at home, I’m really just this boring person who sits at the computer and likes his dogs and has sex once a week.”
