WATCH: Celebrities, politicians celebrate Australian Marriage Equality ring
It was a sparkling affair at the launch of the commemorative Australian Marriage Equality ring at Mondial By Nadia Neuman at the Strand Arcade on Tuesday night, drawing guests ranging from advocates, community figures, supporters from the political sphere, and celebrities from the entertainment industry.
Among those in attendance were Federal Deputy Leader of the Opposition Tanya Plibersek, Independent Member for Sydney Alex Greenwich, City of Sydney Liberal Councillor Christine Forster, singer Deni Hines and Professor Kerry Phelps and wife Jackie Stricker-Phelps.
Designed by award-winning jewellery designer Nadia Neuman, creative director of Mondial, all proceeds from the sale of the ring go towards Australian Marriage Equality's 'We're Waiting' campaign.
