ADELAIDE: Pack your supper basket, sharpen your pencils and put your thinking caps on – Feast’s annual Quiz Night fundraiser is back!

This year the Feast crew are pulling out all the stops to make Quiz night 2014 the best yet.

The Goodwood Community Centre is the place to be on Friday May 9 at 7pm. This community night of nights features comperes Matt Gilbertson and Catherine Fitzgerald, special guests, surprises galore and improved sound.

So what happens at Feast’s Quiz night?

The venue is packed with 400 quiz goers at tables of ten. (If you can’t get a table together, no worries: Feast will make sure you’re in good company.)

There are rounds of queer quiz questions, games and prizes galore including Lucky Seat, first, second and last Table Winners and Best Supper. That’s right: BYO supper that’s impressive and you could win a fabulous prize.

The Live Auction features tickets to Adelaide’s top theatre, cabaret and music, gourmet treats and artwork all going under the hammer of auctioneer Helen Bock.

The Silent Auction is extraordinary with something to tickle everyone’s fancy. The famous Balloon Game is a must. Choose from hundreds of coloured helium balloons each of which rewards you with a prize.

All this plus time to mix and mingle, grab a drink and have a night of feel-good fun, meet up with old friends and make new ones.

Feast has perfected the art of presenting a great Quiz Night over many years and this is Feast’s biggest annual fundraiser. All involved are donating their time and many arts organisations in Adelaide donate prizes, as do supportive businesses and artists.

There’s free parking right next to the venue, but PLEASE no BYO drinks as there is an affordable fundraising bar – after all, raising money to sustain out fabulous queer arts festival is the name of the game.

What are you waiting for? Come and experience all that Quiz night offers. You’ll be so glad you did.

Friday May 9 at 7pm, Goodwood Community Centre, 32-34 Rosa Street, Goodwood (just off Goodwood Road.) Tickets are $20/$15 concession. Book to ensure a good table: go to or call (08) 8463 0684.
