LGBTIQ youth support organisation Twenty10 has named a successor for outgoing executive director, Rebecca Reynolds. Taking over as the new ED will be Brett Paradise. Paradise will commence his duties from January 7 2014.

Paradise has a degree in Performing Arts and Community Sector Management and for the past eight years has been working in the youth and community sector as Manager of Delivery and Client Services for the Northern Rivers Social Development Council.

During his time as manager, Paradise was responsible for the delivery of a number of successful initiatives in juvenile justice, anti-bullying, sexual health and drug and alcohol misuse and abuse.

Paradise is eager to be taking on his new role at Twenty10  and looks forward to engaging with the LGBTIQ community.

“I couldn’t be more excited to be taking up this position and working with a team that engage in such important work every day,” said Paradise.  “I’m also keenly aware that Rebecca Reynolds will be a hard act to follow and I thank her for leaving Twenty10 in such a great position for the future”.
