Survey reveals growing support for marriage equality ahead of state elections
With South Australia and Tasmania heading to the polls this weekend, Australian Marriage Equality has revealed the results of a candidate survey which shows more candidates than ever are supporting equal love.
The results of the survey, released today can be seen on its on its vote4love election website.
AME national director, Rodney Croome, said the results proved there was growing support for marraige equality.
"More Liberal, Labor and National candidates support marriage equality than ever before, showing there is strong momentum for the reform.
"This bodes well for South Australia and Tasmania taking the lead on marriage equality should the federal parliament again fails to pass it."
