Stone Cold Steve Austin delivers a body slam to anti-marriage equality bigots
Heavyweight support for the same-sex marriage equality movement stepped into the ring recently in the person of retired WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) legend Stone Cold Steve Austin.
As reported by the UK’s Pink News, Austin, 49, podcast: “I’ve got some damned good friends that are gay and I’m absolutely for same-sex marriage.
“I don’t give a shit if two guys, two gals, guy-gal, whatever it is, I believe that any human being in America, or any human being in the goddamn world, that wants to be married. If it’s the same-sex, more power to them.
“What also chaps my ass, some of these churches, have the high horse that they get on and say ‘we as a church do not believe in that’.
“Which one of these motherf**kers talked to God and God said that same-sex marriage was a no can do? Can you verify? Can you give me some background on that 411?”
The WWE legend retired from professional wrestling in 2003, after winning a total of 21 championships, and is described as “the biggest star in the history of the WWE”.
