Say what? Kirk Cameron now criticising the church instead of gays
Former Growing Pains star Kirk Cameron says fornicators and adulterers within the church are a bigger problem than gay marriage.
In an interview with AL.com and ahead of a marriage seminar he is to present in the States, Cameron commented that marriage equality was not the most prominent issue within the church worth fighting against.
"When people get too focused on redefining marriage, you're distracted from the bigger problem - fornicators and adulterers," Cameron said.
"If the people sitting in the pews are fornicators and adulterers, the church will destroy marriages much more quickly than those outside the church. When God's people mock marriage, God doesn't take that lightly."
Cameron, who has had a long history of airing his anti-gay sentiments, recently came under fire for tweeting against the Grammy's same sex marriage ceremony calling it an "assault on the traditional family."
