NOH8 comes to Fair Day
What started as a grass roots campaign by US photographer Adam Bouksa in protest of California’s Proposition, has grown into a global phenomenon seeing thousands of everyday people and celebrities donning duct tape and a NOH8 face tattoo to show their solidarity for LGBT rights.
Five years after Bouksa and his partner Jed Parshley started the campaign, 33,000 people have added their face to NOH8.
NOH8 will take their protest to Australia in February when they will take residence in a booth at Fair Day and invite Aussies to join the campaign.
Bouksa will be at the booth on the day and NOH8worldwide will be shooting photos from midday to 3pm. A solo shot will cost you $45 and a group photo is $30 per person. You will get a retouched digital print as part of the fee and you will need to sign a model waiver so NOH8 can add your face to their campaign.
