Police are searching for two armed men who robbed an Oxford Street hotel last night.

The men, who had their faces covered, entered the Beauchamp Hotel just after 10pm with one of the men brandishing a hand gun.

They then threatened staff and demanded money.

No one was injured in the robbery but the men escaped with an amount of cash.

Surry Hills Police set up a crime scene at the location with detectives continuing their enquiries.

One of the men is described as being about 173cm tall, with tanned skin, a thin build, and reportedly wearing a dark coloured hooded jumper and dark pants at the time.

Anyone with information on this incident should contact Surry Hills Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
