New day and host for Bingay
ACON’s ever popular fundraiser Disco Bingay is moving to a new day and gaining a new hostess - again.
The weekly bingo event which has become a fixture at The Midnight Shift in Darlinghurst is moving from Wednesday night to Tuesday night following feedback from supporters.
Sadly this means current hostess with the mostest, Summer Salt will have to pass the balls back to presenter Charisma Belle who is no stranger to Bingay having hosted the event previously.
Long time barrel babe Naomi Palmer will continue to spin the balls and sing up a storm.
If you’ve never been to Disco Bingay – here’s how it plays out: Disco Bingay is gay bingo which means there’s classic disco tunes, weird rules and penalties, outrageous antics, hilarious repartee, deliciously lewd bingo calls, and prizes that range from the silly and camp to great theatre tickets and restaurant vouchers.
Charisma says she’s looking forward to picking up where she left off and putting her own unique spin on the event.
“I’m absolutely thrilled that I’m now making a comeback, and I’m really looking forward continuing with all the camp carry on that has made Bingay such a popular night out for locals and visitors alike.”
Disco Bingay kicks off at 7pm for a 7:30pm start every Tuesday night, Upstairs at the Midnight Shift. Cost $20 for all games. Bookings: www.acon.org.au/bingay
