MP Alex Greenwich honoured by California Senate

Sydney MP Alex Greenwich has been honoured by the California senate for his work in LGBTI law reform.

The popular local parliamentarian, was acknowledged for his ongoing commitment to LGBTI rights.

Greenwich told GNN he was humbled and grateful for the acknowledgement.

"The Californian Senate is one of the most LGBTI friendly legislatures in the world, and it is especially meaningful that they have recognised my work,” he said.

Greenwich also pledged to continue his commitment to LGBTI law reform and said he was eager to welcome California Senator Ricardo Lara to Australia later this year.

"I continue to work with LGBTI lawmakers around the world to share knowledge, strategies, legislative reform ideas. In November I look forward to welcoming Californian Senator Ricardo Lara, who is champion of LGBTI reform to Australia"

    It might be nice if instead of being a puppet he actually achieved something for the people of Sydney
