Midsumma needs your feedback
The 26th annual Midsumma Carnival in Melbourne has wrapped for another year and organisers are asking for your feedback to ensure the festival stays on target.
Over 100,000 people attened this year's Carnival, with Midsumma's Festival Manager Monique Thorpe welcoming the return of the festival to old haunt Alexandra Gardens.
“It was like coming back to home ground and we didn't hear any negative comments about Carnival being back there.”
Thorpe said that that the attendances at Carnival averaged 100,000 each year, however, this year's attendence across both ticketed and non-ticketed events rose to 140,000.
Thorpe said that to ensure the festival keeps in touch with the community, the festival requests attendees to take part in an online survey and give feedback.
“With only three staff in the festival office it's difficult to monitor so many events,” she said.
“So the survey will help us get feedback from people about what they liked, didn't like and anything else they want to tell us about the festival.”
