Le1f announces Australian tour
Openly gay US rapper Le1f will embark on his third Australian tour this November.
After completing his degree in dance from Weslayen, Le1f established his own brand of rap. By using his lyric to explore homosexual desire, the Manhatten-born rapper reformed a medium largely untouched by such ‘taboo’ topics.
esultantly, after his debut single ‘Wut’ hit airwaves in 2012 Le1f caused ripples in the rap world. Inspired by his honesty on the subject, Frank Ocean too came out in a blog post.
Despite the initial controversy, Le1f’s music has been largely embraced – especially here in Australia. November will mark his third tour down under.
Le1f’s ‘Tree House Party’ tour will hit the Meredith and Subsonic Music Festivals. He will also perform solo gigs in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.
Le1f’s tour down under will run from December 6 – 13. For more information, see le1f.com.
