Kylie to headline 2014 Commonwealth Games closing ceremony

Kylie Minogue will headline the Commonwealth Games' closing ceremony - and it looks set to be spectacular.

The ceremony is to take place at Glasgow's Hampden Park and will also serve as a handover to the 2018 Games on the Gold Coast.

With 160 tonnes of staging, 3000 props and 454 flags, the backdrop for Kylie's performance will no doubt be spectacular.  Aussie Jess Mauboy is also set to perform, alongside local favourites Deacon Blue.

This marks the second occasion Kylie has closing a major sporting ceremony - she performed Dancing Queen at the Sydney 2000 Olympics. It’s anyone’s guess what she’ll sing this time.
