Killer line up announced for Newtown Festival 2013
Renowned for its support of local talent, the Newtown Festival returns in 2013 with an eclectic line-up of music, melodies and mash-ups.
From the indie-rock sounds and synthesized rhythms of Dappled Cities to the hip hop beats and lyrical masterpieces of New Zealand’s Home Brew, this year’s festival has a bit of everything.
The Federation state (main stage) and Essential stage will host such big names as The Snowdroppers, TUKA with The Basement Big Band, Dappled Cities, Home Brew, Palms, Guineafowl, Gay Paris and Oscar Key Sung.
And, the ever popular Vocal Local Village will feature live acoustic and world music to spotlight emerging and grassroots artists.
The Newtown Festival will be held at Camperdown Memorial Rest Park on Sunday, November 10 from 9.30 am – 5.30pm. To find out more, visit newtowncentre.org/festival.
