Seduction and lesbian romance feature in Goldfrapp's Stranger videoclip
The latest videoclip for Goldfrapp's single Stranger tells an ominous tale of seduction between two women.
Irish actress Laura Donnelly plays a queer character retuning to a seaside town where a tragedy played out years earlier, in Goldfrapp's latest stripped-back musical offering.
Stranger is the final video in a five part series from the duo's Tales of Us release which forms a 30- minute film directed by singer Allison Goldfrapp's partner Lisa Gunning.
Goldfrapp has cited author Patricia Highsmith and noir film director David Lynch as influencing her during the creation of Tales of Us, however, in essence, the singer says the album is very much about "memory, identity and gender."
