French actor Alain Delon says men are here to love women
Once described as France’s answer to James Dean, acclaimed French actor Alain Delon has told French national TV he is against same-sex couples adopting children and being gay is against nature.
The 77 year old actor was being interviewed on France 2 when he was asked about the recently passed legislation allowing same-sex couples to adopt.
“I’m not against gay marriage, I do not give a damn, but I am against the adoption of children,” said Delon.
He also described homosexuality as “against nature,” adding, “We are here to love a woman, to woo a woman, not to flirt with or get picked up by guys.”
Outraged by his comments, viewers took to Twitter to respond with one tweeter commenting, “It is against nature to love yourself as much as he does.”
