Aspiring singer Eva Iglesias wowed the judges of  UK talent quest, Britain’s Got Talent last night with a performance of ‘Natural Woman’  and revealed she hoped the song would woo back her former girlfriend - a London policewoman.

The 40-year old singer told the judges she had contemplated not showing up for her audition after being dumped by her girlfriend. Fortunately she changed her mind, as her show-stopping performance earned her four yeses from the panel and a place in the next round.

Iglesias, who was in tears after her performance, told The Sun she is hopeful she and her ex can patch things up, saying her former girlfriend phoned her and asked her to dinner after the show aired on TV.

“I hope we get back together,” she told The Sun. “If she wants me back she needs to tell me she loves me, she made a mistake and is sorry.”
