Andrew Scott to join cast of gay comedy film
Andrew Scott who delivered a deliciously wicked version of Sherlock Holme’s villain Moriarty in the BBC series Sherlock has joined the cast of director Matthew Warchus’ gay pride romp, Pride.
The film is set during the Welsh mining strike of the 1980s. It follows the story of a group of gay and lesbian activists who decide to raise funds to support the National Union of Mineworkers.
When the Union reacts with embarrassment to their donation, the activists hire a minibus and decide to take a road trip to Wales to make the donation in person.
Other cast announced include Bill Nighy and Dominic West.
