HANDBAG HEAVEN: ARQ
Arq kicks off the long weekend with this popular monthly club night that’s all about camp tunes and hands in the air. You go girl!
INSTANT REPLAY: COLOMBIAN HOTEL
Kick off the long weekend with a bang at the Colombian Hotel with a special show by the hot lads from the Sydney Stinger gay water polo team. The party continues at the venue throughout the weekend.
ROCKY HORROR: IMPERIAL HOTEL (pictured)
The cult classic Rocky Horror comes alive at the Imperial Hotel’s cabaret bar and tonight’s performance will raise money for Camp Goodtime, a charity for kids living with HIV.
OXFORD HOTEL
There’s something for everyone at the Oxford Hotel. At the Polo Lounge is the chic party, Apartment. In the Supper Club is the launch of the new karaoke night. While in the Main Bar, the Harbour City Bears take over.
STONEWALL HOTEL
Drag show and go-go boys – where else but Stonewall! All three levels of the popular Oxford Street haunt will be open, with appearances by the fabulous Verushka Darling and the gorgeous Liam Lightning.
SATURDAY 9 JUNE
WOOF: IMPERIAL HOTEL
Get down and dirty at the Imperial’s Cellar Dance Bar for Woof. With DJs Buck Naked, George Roussos, Matt Effect and more.
AQUATICA: MIDNIGHT SHIFT
Catch Sydney’s best full production show, Aquatica, starring Will Sabin, Decoda Secret, Natasha Knowles and more. The Winter Bar opens from 10pm and the Main Room opens at 1am.
BROMANCE: NEVERMIND
International DJ Phil Hewson leads a stellar cast at Nevermind’s newest club party, Bromance. He’ll be joined by Sacred, Kelly Lynch and She J.
HOT ROD: OXFORD HOTEL
The theme at Hot Rod is ‘Kings & Queens’ so expect lots of curtsies on the Underground dance floor. DJs Matt Vaughan and Sveta provide the tunes with the help of Brendan Maclean and Mr Smithers.
DILF: FACTORY THEATRE
In its second instalment, DILF moves to the industrial digs of the Factory Theatre in Marrickville. It’s the perfect fit as this edition takes inspiration from the blue collar figure – the gardener. Wanna prune my hedge?
SUNDAY 10 JUNE
HAPPY BIRTHDAY QUEEN
ARQ A plethora of DJs and performers will hit the Arq stage at its annual Queen’s Birthday Sunday night party. Special guest Cris Pepper lead the DJ reins while Decoda and cast will premiere their new show, Vixens.
QUEEN’S LONG WEEKEND: BERESFORD HOTEL
The Sunday shenanigans at the Beresford kick off at 3pm with complimentary BBQ, cucumber sandwiches and tea pot cocktails. Indulge in said freebies while listening to Michelle Martinez live.
EXTRA DIRTY: MIDNIGHT SHIFT
Direct from Spain, Enrico Arghentini will light the Shift’s DJ box on fire with his signature sounds, along with DJs Sveta, Feisty and Juan Velsaco.
QUEERNATION: HOME
The popular circuit party make a special return for one night only, led by DJs Jake Kilby, Alex Taylor, Kitty Glitter and more. Look out for fab entertainment designed by Verushka Darling and Claire de Lune.
