Yeehar! Sydney's Bear Bar to host country music night
Tamworth comes to Sydney in a special country music night to be held at Sydney’s Bear Bar during Mardi Gras.
Singer songwriter Steve Charles, well known on the Australian country music scene, will bring his unique style of country-rock to the pop up Bear Bar located at 34 Oxford Street this Mardi Gras.
Event producer Jonny Bastin said he was exciting about the country music performer’s addition to the Bear Bar line-up.
“It’s great to be able to bring Steve to Sydney and showcase a different side of the bear scene,” Bastin said.
“During Mardi Gras we’ll get plenty of opportunities to hear some great DJs from around the world, so it’s fantastic to do something different at Bear Bar with a respected local NSW country music artist.
“Steve has played around Australia, including at the Tamworth Country Music Festival and more recently at Bearstock in Adelaide.
“We’ve wanted to bring him to Sydney for a while, so we’re thrilled he’s appearing at our free Bear Country event at Bear Bar,” Bastin added.
