Join a panel of journalists, media personalities and GLAAD advocates for a special public discussion on the power of news and entertainment to shape attitudes to LGBTI culture.

The forum will be hosted by local radio and TV presenter Fenella Kernebone and features a panel discussion with author and journalist, Benjamin Law (The Family Law), and comedian, Jordan Raskopoulos (Axis of Awesome) alongside Ross Murray and Ray Bradford, leading advocates from GLAAD (Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation).

US-based organisation GLAAD has become a global leader in ensuring LGBTIQ people are represented fairly and inclusively by helping everyday people share their stories and holding the media accountable for the words and images they present.

Ross Murray is a Director of Programs focusing on LGBTIQ people in the US South, and advocates across the globe, with a particular interest in LGBTIQ and faith communities.

As Director of Programs for Entertainment Media, Ray Bradford works with creators across all entertainment platforms, as well as allies, to promote fair, accurate and inclusive content that accelerates acceptance of LGBTIQ lives.

The panel takes place on Feb 28, 6.30pm. Giant Dwarf Theatre. Free but Bookings essential
