Uzo Aduba wins Emmy for OITNB character Crazy Eyes

Uzo Aduba, who portrays lesbian prisoner Crazy Eyes on Netflix's cult dramedy, Orange is the New Black has walked away with an Emmy Award for her performance.

Aduba won the Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series beating out OITNB co-stars Natasha Lyonne and Laverne Cox as well as Tina Fey and Melissa McCarthy for their work on Saturday Night Live and Joan Cuasck for her role in Shameless.

Morgan Freeman presented a clearly overwhelmed Aduba with her award at the ceremony in Los Angeles on the weekend.

"I don’t know how to say how incredibly impressed I am to be a part of this show day in, day out," Aduba said
