The Australian Chamber Orchestra (ACO) and the Presets have combined musical forces to bring you Timeline, a time-bending musical odyssey through 42,000 years and over 230 songs in a spectacular concert as part of Vivid Live.

Timeline is a two-hour concert delivered in four parts spanning music from 40,000 B.C right up to the modern era – forging the likes of Vivaldi, Mozart and Bach to Miles Davis, Bob Dylan and Nirvana ending in a joyous finale of contemporary music assembled by  ARIA Award-winning duo, the Presets.

ACO Artistic Director Richard Tognetti leads Timeline's voyage featuring a vocal sextet, percussion and carefully curated recordings augmenting the strings of the ACO.

The program takes the listener through time, through the virtuosic outpourings of the Renaissance, the Baroque, Classical and Romantic periods and finally explodes into the modern age. Electro-pop outfit  The Presets, who are also classically trained, will make their classical music debut after three critically-acclaimed albums and their tenth anniversary celebration.

This musical extravaganza will be performed to the eye-popping visual effects from the mind of Ignatius Jones.
