After jumping ship to the other side of Collingwood, Melbourne's hip LGBTI night Grouse are back at their old haunt on Smith St and they're celebrating with a Saturday night soiree for a change.

They've ditched their regular Friday night slot for the time being, but this doesn't mean they've ditched all the hot, messy fun you can come to expect from their monthly parties.

Bringing a host of international and local performers to the DJ booth and stage, most recently Kim Ann Foxman and Leif, the wild times continue back on Smith St at venue The 86 (previously Neverwhere, remember the Twin Peaks velvet curtains?) with some prodigious local acts to tear up the dancefloor.

Criminal Intense, Melo, Trash Slag DJs, Living the Dream Dickheads, Cuteface Killah and Truebabyangel will give you something to move to. They score points for their monikers alone, so just wait til you hear what they've got stashed in their record bags.

Grouse Party is on Saturday 17 May at The 86, 185 Smith Street Collingwood. For more details click here.
