Join the Pollys for a night of Forbidden Lust
The Pollys social group are holding their another fabulous knees-up and this year’s event promises to be spectacular, featuring retro beats, a glitzy show and the option to byo drinks and food for those in a thrifty mood.
Monies raised from the Forbidden Lust event will go towards the group’s annual grants program which provides funds to LGBTIQ charity organisations to continue their important work.
Last year the Polly’s raised over $7000 for LGBTI charities and they hope to double their donation this year.
Polly’s member Kurt Brinschwitz said patrons can expect to be entertained by a fabulous 30-minute show, and tells SX there will be prizes for best costumes.
He says the show is always a highlight and each production number has been created specifically to tie in with the event’s them of Forbidden Lust.
He encourages community members to attend and says everyone is welcome at a Pollys club event.
“We are a very welcoming and inclusive community. It’s a fun, inexpensive night, a great way to meet people – young and old – and help raise funds for great community LGBTQI causes."
Asked what’s the best thing about a Polly’s event Brinschwitz is quick to reply:
