The final acts for this year’s celebration of queer culture, the Mardi Gras Party have finally been announced, upping the ante on international and local acts taking part.

Nat Conway, the vocalist behind this years’ theme song, will be making her Mardi Gras debut at this year’s event. Joining Conway will be a cavalcade of fantastic acts including ‘All American Boy’ Steve Grand – who made waves when he came out as an openly gay country music singer.  Adding to the mayhem is Ibiza favourites, Peyton, and rising Aussie star, Luke Antony who will play the coveted midnight slot.

They join an already stellar line-up of artists such as Tegan and Sara and The Veronicas and DJs such as Sylvin Wood (FR), Joelby (UK), High Low (FR), Anhy (FR) and local favourites Kate Monroe, DJ Tiny, Rob Davis and THE SWEATS.

Recently appointed Creative Director, Greg Clarke described the event as  “Australia’s biggest and best party of the year” and suggested it was going to be “an amazing, inclusive and hedonistic party experience like no other”.

Clarke said the night will feature an exclusive performance by The Veronicas in a specially created show just for Mardi Gras.

“This will be one of four big live shows to blow your mind and senses in the iconic Royal Hall of Industries, which will feature, dancers, acrobats and the crème de-la-creme of Sydney’s drag queen superstars.

“In the Hordern Pavilion you will enter a jungle of special effects as lasers cut through a real-life forest in which wild performances and pop-up happenings will create a bizarre world of debauchery and fun. From porn stars, American go-go boys to queer performance artists, surprise vocalists and a star line-up  of DJ’s this hallowed hall of abandon will take you to a state of euphoric dance music heaven.”
