Anthony Callea headlines Gold Coast's Glitter Festival
Out and proud pop star Anthony Callea is set to bring the sparkles when he headlines the Glitter Festival at the Arts Centre, Gold Coast next month.
Callea will make his Glitter debut with the show, which will give audiences the opportunity to see the star tackle the music and songs of another gay artist, pop singer George Michael.
The show sold out in Sydney and Melbourne and now Gold Coast audiences will get the chance to hear Callea in full voice as he serves up tracks from Michael’s impressive back catalogue of hits.
Expect to hear renditions of ‘Careless Whisper’, ‘Too Funky’ and ‘Faith’ as Callea brings his tremendous vocals to bear.
Ladies & Gentlemen: The Songs of George Michael. Will play at the Arts Centre on October 8 for one night only as part of the Glitter Festival. For more information about the Glitter Festival visit theartscentregc.com.au/group/glitter-festival-2016-2/
