St George Bank announces partnership with Queer Screen

St George Bank has signed on the dotted line to a partnership with Queer Screen. The bank will lend financial support for the next two seasons of Queer Screen events.  

The partnership will allow Queer Screen to expand upon its current offerings which include Queer Screen Film Festival, Mardi Gras Film Festival and My Queer Career short film competition.

Giovanni Campolo-Arcidiaco, President of Queer Screen described teh partnership as exciting.

"We're very happy to welcome our new Major Sponsor St.George Bank. This exciting new partnership will allow us to deliver even better film festivals and events. St George has a history of supporting the arts and we look forward to working with them to promote diversity and creativity within our community and beyond."

St.George Bank’s General Manager, Retail Banking, Andy Fell, said the bank is committed to giving Australia’s LGBTI community a voice.

“This partnership is a unique opportunity to showcase our values alongside the best the queer-film community has to offer,” Fell said.
