Grab Your Tickets for the Feast Film Festival 2014
This year Adelaide's Feast Festival is lighting up winter with the fabulous Feast Film.
Feast has decided to move the film component of the annual November festival to mid-year for easier access to queer film from across Australia and around the globe.
The festival kicks off with a 20th anniversary screening of the classic Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, followd by an after-party at Caos Cafe. Audience members are invited to dress up/ drag up and sing (or mime) along!
Feast has programmed the best LGBTIQ films from around the globe including Germany, Pakistan, Taiwan, Australia, America, Brazil and Canada. Featuring 4 Australian Premiere’s, 14 Adelaide Premiere’s, 3 new short films.
Films include Test, Two Mothers, Who's Afraid of Vagina Wolf, the surfing documentary OUT in the Line up, To Be Takei (about Star Trek's George Takei) among others, with the closing night film Reaching for the Moon starring Miranda Otto. Short films include Why Wouldn't You? developed by the former AIDS Council of SA.
