All aboard for Buoyed Up!

A new gay dance party and boat cruise through Sydney harbour sets sail on Australia Day.

“What an unreal way to spend Australia Day – an evening on the harbour with hot guys and great music.” So says DJ Dan Slater who will be playing at Buoyed Up, a new gay dance party and harbour cruise on Saturday, January 26.

The gay cruise is being brought to life by Naughtical Entertainment, a new events that aims to deliver unique entertainment experiences.

“Buoyed Up is a completely new event experience unlike any other in Sydney – instead of your traditional day boat party or venue party, we take the best of both worlds and combine them with Sydney’s iconic harbour views and warm summer nights,” Naughtical Entertainment director Jimmy Dimitirios tells SX.

“The perfect combo for the hottest Australia Day yet.”

The luxurious Lady Rose Cruise Ship, which boasts three levels, massive dance spaces and a cash bar, is the party vessel that will take punters through a scenic sail through Sydney’s coastline.

“It is all about taking advantage of the beautiful harbour we have in our own backyard and creating the ultimate dance and music experience,” Dimitirios adds. “Everyone loves hitting the high seas in a luxury cruise liner – now you can do it with up to 400 of the hottest people in Sydney on Australia Day.”

Slater, who is currently making waves as resident DJ at Hugo’s Sunday Sessions, says he is excited about being part of the cruise.

Joining Slater is DJ Chip. Having recently played at big events like Daywash, Get Together, DILF and RezErection, the local DJ favourite is all primed for this summertime adventure.
