She’s responsible for some of the best lesbian characters in fiction, and next month she will be heading to Byron Bay to present the keynote address at the Bryon Bay Writer’s Festival... Who am I talking about? Why Jeannette Winterson of course.

One of the most acclaimed authors of our time, Winterson’s novels, from Oranges are not the Only Fruit to Written on The Body and Sexing the Cherry, have become favourites with readers the world over. The Guardian recently named Winterson one of the world’s top ten writers to see live – so we suggest you beg, borrow or steal a ticket to see this woman in action.

There will be over 100 authors speaking at this year’s festival, including some of Australia’s best writers and thinkers.
