Michael has written for the gay media for over a decade and has also written for a number of journals, magazines and street presses around Melbourne and websites around the world.

He also worked in music publishing and copyright where he reached a personal best when he wrote lyrics for Beethoven. Michael contributed to Evolution Publishing's Melbourne title MCV as arts writer and reviewer before becoming News Editor this year.
