Canadian Youth driven HIV charity, Let’s Stop AIDS launched a new resource for young people living with HIV, at the 20th AIDS Conference in Melbourne.

The charity which was founded in 2004 by then 15-year-old Shamin Mohammed Jr (now 26) delivers a number of workshops and initiatives to inspire youth to take action locally.

The latest project, LiveLifeLoving is a global initiative for young people living with HIV. According to Sharmin the site makes HIV information easily accessible, addresses the misconceptions and most importantly, reduces stigma associated with HIV.

“LiveLifeLoving creates an online portal that provides and shares resources globally to multiple communities about prevention and strengthens HIV knowledge.

“We provide young people with a better understanding of HIV through youth-friendly information and materials. Our efforts to provide HIV knowledge is to help ensure youth are equipped with the proper tools and support network to live life to the fullest with love.”
